Ultrasound

Everyone is familiar with the use of ultrasound in pregnancy.  Ultrasound can also be used to look at the internal organs of the body such as the liver, gall bladder, and kidneys.  More recently, ultrasound has been used to image the blood vessels.  Good Shepherd Medical Center has three state-of-the-art Accuson ultrasound machines.
