MEDICAL RECORDS

ON-CALL:  Will work as needed.  Job duties: Assign all ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 Diagnostic and Procedural Codes for all Inpatient, Outpatient, Ambulatory Surgery and Observation patients upon discharge.  The Credentialed Coder will abstract each coded record into the Meditech Information Management System, and where applicable assign the appropriate MS-DRG and release the record for financial reimbursement.  Qualifications: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS preferred.  Minimum of one (1) year coding experience as a RHIA or RHIT and a minimum of two (2) years coding experience as a CCS.  Req.#800710.  Posted 07/29/10

 

HIS APPLICATIONS ANALYST

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

FULL-TIME:  Monday through Friday and rotating call on weekends.  Job duties:  Performs design, implementation, testing and on-going maintenance of HIS applications.  Serves as one of the primary report writing resources.  Provides system support, maintenance, analysis, design and maintenance of documentation, change control and versioning of reports and HIS databases and reporting components.  This Includes defining report requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of reports, scripts, in HIS application, web, and database environments.  Qualifications:  Minimum 3 years experience with the following: technical development and support in a Microsoft Window network domain; systems analysis, programming and implementation to include data base report writing.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Window Operating Systems and Microsoft SQL and Office applications.  Programming experience in a commercially available, release-based, heath care application preferred.  Experience with Meditech NPR and/or Data Repository reporting in a client server environment a plus.  Must possess critical thinking and analytical skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize competing work requests.  Req.#890810.  Posted 08/19/10
