Sheri Lynn Miller is a leader with nearly 40 years of management experience – specializing in office administration, finance/budget management, board support, recruitment, strategic planning, project management and travel/event/meeting coordination.
Born in Oregon and raised on a working cattle ranch, she competed in horse shows, rodeos and was a horseback riding instructor for many years. She competed at the Miss Oregon Teen pageant, was crowned Mrs. Oregon USA and was in the Top 10 at the Mrs. USA Pageant in Dallas, TX. She was also the Fashion Show Commentator/Coordinator of the Portland Bridal Show for over 20 years.
She also raised registered cattle and was the founder & executive director of a non-profit organization that provided horseback riding therapy for special needs children in Northeastern Oregon. She has volunteered at Make-A-Wish Foundation, Pendleton Round-Up Children’s Rodeos, Blue Mountain Community College Christmas Eve Dinners and Harland Financial Solutions’ annual fundraising event & Corporate Sponsor receptions. She has also served as a volunteer board member of Helix Partners in Education and publicity chairperson of Oregon Trail Pro Rodeo.
Sheri Lynn attended Portland State University and began her career in banking as a loan officer and then promoted to branch manager. At age 23, she was honored to be recognized as the youngest branch manager of a financial institution in the state of Oregon. She also held the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO of Pacific First Federal Bank and worked as a manager/director at the nation’s leading banking software company in downtown Portland.
In 1998, Sheri Lynn and her family moved to Northeastern Oregon and she worked as a Branch Office Administrator for Edward Jones Investments.
In 2007, she began her career in health care administration at Good Shepherd Health Care System in Hermiston, Oregon as the Administration Department Manager/Board Liaison/Executive Assistant to the CEO and a member of the Executive Team, then promoted to her current role as Senior Director of Administrative Services/Board Liaison/Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Sheri Lynn and her husband Dylan reside in Richland, Washington.
