Each year Good Shepherd Health Care System hosts the 12 Days of Giving event, in which we collect donations to support other

community non-profits in time for the Christmas season and those in need. GSHCS received 2,337 donated items in December 2020.

In partnership with Prevent Child Abuse Oregon and Umatilla-Morrow Head

Start, Good Shepherd’s Community Health & Outreach Department and

Children’s Center planted a pinwheel garden to bring awareness and prevention

of child abuse during April, Child Abuse Awareness Month. A pinwheel garden

represents a vision of the world where all children grow up happy, healthy and

prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities.
