•The Wellness Center was safely re-opened in

screenings, face masks to be worn at all times, sign-
in sheets and daily sanitization of all equipment

launched utilizing a holistic approach to well-being

COVID-Screening:

•Maintained effective COVID health screening at all

facility entrances to ensure the safety of our patients,
visitors and staff.

upgrades, remodeled our kitchen

and dining area, replaced Women’s

a state-of-the-art Echo Unit,

elevator upgrades, LED lighting

replacements, CAT Generator 

Control Panel upgrade, as well as 

multiple campus-wide modifications 

related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

•Our Facilities team of 10 people 

completed over 8,349 work orders 
on 5,012 tracked assets, 

maintained/

monitored 134 security cameras, 

and monitored/maintained 

electronic access to 258 badge-
controlled 

doors.

•Information Technology prepared 

Epic and Meditech systems for 

COVID patients, provided Epic build, 

training and support for new service 

lines.

•Our Patient Financial Services & 

Revenue Cycle Team provide 
excellent customer service, helping 
patients with questions, concerns, 
accessing their medical records, 
ensuring document integrity, and 
protecting patient privacy.

•Saw significant growth in employed 

staff with 750 employees primarily 

to meet the demands of new 

services and new physicians, as well 

as COVID-19 screening stations.

•Grew the Good Shepherd 

Community Health Foundation

(GSCHF) in the public eye and 

increased Foundation total assets to 
over 

$8,000,000. Festival of Trees 

was cancelled due to COVID-19. T

annual Scramble for Scholarships 

Golf Tournament raised over 
$35,000 for medical scholarships

•GSCHF dispersed $212,575 in grants 

and funds and awarded $71,000 in 
medical scholarships to 31 local 
students.

•Hosted 9 GoodHealth Radio

media outlets throughout the

region. All were picked up by local

as well as some in Portland, Bend

and Tri-Cities.

Memorial Hospice staff traveled a

12,028 in-home visits since

acquiring patients in Pendleton and

surrounding areas.

•Restructured Clinical Education,

hiring two additional RN Clinical

Educators, for a total of three.

Diabetes Education adapted all

individual appointments and

group classes to be available either

virtually or in-person.
