GSHCS welcomed Army National Guard members in January 2022 to help in essential non-clinic roles on campus during 
the COVID surge.

Consultants from Lean Health Care Practice of Moss Adams visited GSHCS 
to provide Lean fundamentals education and a four-day Value Stream 
Mapping Workshop. Staff completed nearly 59 hours of observation time 
in the ED, Med/Surg and ICU to build a value stream map and share their 
observed wastes.
