Highlights

GSHCS utilizes national, third party survey firm Press Ganey to monitor our patient experience scores  
and learn how our care compares to trends over time and to national and local hospitals and practices.

Emergency Department Nurse Megan Billings was recognized with a “Great 

Catch Award” for providing exceptional safety and care for our patients.

2024-25 Highlights:

• 8,723 patients or their loved ones 

responded to our patient experience 
surveys, providing 8,002 comments. 

• 98% of our surgery patients said 

they would recommend GSHCS.

• 86% of Emergency Department 

patients would recommend GSHCS.

• 97% of Home Health patients  

would recommend GSHCS to 
friends and family.

• 98% of Hospice patients’ loved ones 

would recommend GSHCS to their 
friends and family.

• Vange John Memorial Hospice once 

again earned five-star status from 
CMS based on survey results.

• 94% of inpatients said they would 

recommend GSHCS to their friends 
and family

• The Family Birth Center continued 

its tradition of excellence, ranking 
in the 93rd percentile or higher on 
most survey questions.

• 94.6% of clinic patients would 

recommend GSHCS to friends. 

• Ten of our clinic providers ranked 

among the top 10% of providers 
nationwide in the Care Provider 
domain.

• 90.6% of Urgent Care patients 

would recommend GSHCS to friends

• 95.4% of Cancer Center patients

• 100% of Cardiopulmonary Rehab
