Audiology Services
At Good Shepherd Audiology Clinic, we work with our patients to not only evaluate and diagnose hearing loss, but also to manage and treat the issues. We also provide tinnitus evaluations and management. In addition to these services, we also offer:
- Comprehensive audiologic evaluations:
- Including: otoscopy, tympanometry, pure tone audiometry (air and bone thresholds), speech recognition threshold, word recognition, and speech in noise testing.
- Additional audiologic assessments:
- Conditioned Play Audiometry
- Otoacoustic emissions testing
- Reflexes and reflex decay
- Eustachian Tube Dysfunction testing
- Tinnitus evaluations (pitch/loudness matching, minimum masking level)
- High frequency testing
- Ototoxic monitoring
- Cognitive screenings with audiologic evaluations
- Tinnitus evaluations and tinnitus management
- Pediatric audiology services (at this time, only for ages 5 and older)
- Cerumen removal via manipulation
- Earmold impressions and earmold fittings (for hearing aids or custom ear plugs or shooting protection)
Hearing Aid Services
In addition to our hearing healthcare, we also provide service and support for hearing aids. This includes:
- Hearing aid evaluations and demonstrations
- Hearing aid fittings, programming adjustments, cleanings, and in-house repairs
- Hearing aid verification testing (real ear measures and electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids)
- Hearing aid technology appointments and assistance with any care/maintenance of the hearing aids
We currently provide support for many hearing aid brands including Phonak, Starkey, ReSound, Oticon, Signia, Widex, and Unitron.
