A 3D mammogram is an X-ray image of the breast used to screen for breast cancer. Mammograms can find tumors that are too small for you or your doctor to feel, thus playing a major role in early breast cancer detection. Our 3D mammogram technology offers exceptionally sharp images to aid radiologists and your doctor in diagnosis, and a more ergonomic design making the exam more comfortable for you.
Using 3D mammogram technology we are able to:
- Reduce false positives by up to 40 percent.
- Detect 41 percent more invasive breast cancers.
We follow American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines for mammography and begin screening women at the age of 40.
