Most consultations are conducted by phone; depending on medical history and type of procedure, in-person appointments may be necessary. We will provide a courtesy call to coordinate a preferred date and timeframe prior to scheduling phone appointments.

Things to Know about Your Appointment:
- All appointments and consultations are done in collaboration with both the surgical team (operating surgeon) and anesthesia team to ensure the patient’s current condition is safe for surgery – this is a REQUIRED and IMPORTANT consultation. If the Pre-Admission Services consult is not completed, surgery may be rescheduled.
- PAS Appointments occur anywhere from 3-30 days prior to the date of surgery.
- Patients should be prepared with current medication list and ready to review them at the time of PAS appointment.
- PAS will coordinate with the surgeon’s office to review and/or order any necessary lab work or additional testing required before the procedure.
