Courtney Munoz is an HR professional with eight years of experience, currently serving as a dedicated member of the team at Good Shepherd Health Care System. Originally from Hermiston, Oregon, Courtney pursued her education at Portland State University, where her passion for human resources blossomed unexpectedly during her business studies.
Drawn to the dynamic intersection of people and processes, Courtney chose to specialize in HR, finding fulfillment in the challenges and rewards of fostering a positive workplace environment. Her journey into healthcare was a natural progression, driven by a desire to contribute meaningfully to an industry that touches countless lives.
Courtney’s journey at GSHCS began as a Human Resource Assistant, where her dedication propelled her to the role of Interim Director of Human Resources. Throughout her tenure, she has played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of multiple system upgrades, streamlining operational efficiency, and enhancing workplace dynamics.
Outside of work, Courtney prioritizes her family, relishing every moment with her spouse and spirited toddler. She finds joy in simple pleasures like tending to her dahlia’s and sharing laughter with loved ones. Courtney also enjoys unwinding with podcasts and audiobooks, finding solace and inspiration in the wisdom they offer.
