Danielle Tao is a compassionate leader that’s been an integral part of the success of various key service lines at Good Shepherd. Danielle has the experience and knowledge combined with the emotional intelligence and leadership skills to continue growing Good Shepherd’s clinics and services in her role as VP of Clinics.
Working her way up the ranks, Danielle has many years of experience in clinic operations in both staff and management positions. She worked for a Rural Healthcare Clinic in Baker City for eight years. After relocating with her husband and two children to the Hermiston area several years ago, Danielle worked in the Health Services Department at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla. Shortly thereafter, Danielle was hired as the Practice Manager for the Good Shepherd General Surgery and Urology clinics, a position she held for five years. Recently, she also took on the additional role of Interim Practice Manager for Primary Care and Pediatrics in the Rural Health Clinic, while also contributing to the establishment of the new Nephrology clinic. Danielle was then promoted to the new role as Director of Primary Care and now the VP of Clinics.
Danielle and her family enjoy being outdoors at their small farm in Hermiston. They camp and fish often, all while successfully juggling the hectic schedules of their two sports-loving kids. When not in the office, you’ll likely find her either in a gym, watching her son and daughter play sports or cheering from the sidelines at the baseball fields.
