Chief Nursing Officer

Lucas Bradshaw is dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of his community. With a career in healthcare spanning various roles since 2008, he has developed experiences both as a general staff member and in leadership positions. Most recently, Lucas has served as the Vice President of Nursing for Good Shepherd Shepherd Health Care System since February 2024.

Lucas began his nursing career in 2008 as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in an acute rehabilitation center while completing his final year of nursing school. He graduated from Blue Mountain Community College in 2009 with an Associate of Science in Nursing degree and subsequently worked as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Good Shepherd Medical Center. He furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and a Master of Science in Nursing, along with a Master of Business Administration, in 2020 from Grand Canyon University.

Throughout his tenure at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Lucas has held various leadership roles, including shift charge nurse, house supervisor, Acute Care Services Manager, and Emergency Department Manager. Before becoming the Acute Care Services Manager in 2015, Lucas worked as an agency nurse from 2011 to 2014, providing care in hospitals across Washington and Oregon as a house supervisor and staff nurse in both the Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical Units.

Outside of his professional life, Lucas has been married to his wife, Elizabeth, for 21 years, and together they have six children. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family, such as camping, traveling, water skiing, and alpine skiing. Additionally, Lucas has a passion for lacrosse, having served as a youth coach over the years and currently as an assistant lacrosse coach at Hermiston High School for the past five years.
