The Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation has awarded well over 400 scholarships to local residents to start or continue education leading to a health-related career in recent years.

In 2020, Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation awarded $32,500 in medical scholarships.  Twenty-two local students were recipients of these awards and are currently attending various colleges and universities throughout the country.

The foundation offers scholarships in three separate program; one for high school seniors, one for medical students having successfully completed one year of college, and another for medical professionals currently working for Good Shepherd Health Care System.

Applications must be received by February 28th prior to each school year. Scholarships are awarded only to local students residing in West Umatilla and Morrow Counties of Oregon.
