    Matter Of Balance: Have you fallen recently or are you afraid of falling? Join us for an 8-week opportunity that emphasizes practical strategies to reduce fear of falling and increase activity levels. We’ll help you learn to view falls as controllable, and to set realistic goals for increasing activity, changing your environment to reduce fall risks, and increasing strength and balance through exercise.     Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR   

    • The American Heart Association (AHA) designed the BLS course to teach healthcare professionals how to perform high-quality CPR individually or as part of a team. BLS skills are applicable to any healthcare setting. 

    • Adult, child & infant CPR and AED instruction. 

    • Includes a HCP CPR take home manual for each participant.

    Dates:            2nd and 4th Friday of the Month

  • Jump Starting Weight Loss Through Exercise

    Jump Starting Weight Loss Through Exercise:   If you have ever tried unsuccessfully to start or maintain an exercise program, this workshop can give you the information you need to improve your health and decrease body fat. Learn the myths and facts of weight loss, how to avoid exercise related fatigue and soreness, starting and maintaining an exercise program, and everything in between!

  • Babysitting Basics 101

    For babysitters ages 10-15. Learn childcare techniques, children’s developmental stages and what to expect, basic first aid and infant and child CPR. Choose any one of the following classes:

    First Aid Classes are taught according to American Heart Association guidlines.

    First Aid Class covers basic techniques for providing first aid assistance.

    Date:  Monday: Generally the 2nd Monday of the month (there are a couple of exceptions)

    Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

    Fee: $50 (Group rates are available)
