  • Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation Opens Spring 2026 Grant Cycle to Support the Health of the Community

    Umatilla County Fire Department receives a grant from the Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation.

    HERMISTON, OR – The Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation (GSCHF) is accepting applications for its Spring 2026 Grant Cycle, supporting nonprofit organizations that serve residents of West Umatilla and Morrow County communities. Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2026.

    The mission of the Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation is to enhance the quality of life and general health of residents living in the West Umatilla and Morrow County communities. Through its grantmaking, the Foundation partners with local organizations to support programs and services that respond to community needs and strengthen overall health and well-being.

    “Our mission guides every funding decision we make,” said Art Mathisen, President and CEO of Good Shepherd Health Care System. “We are proud to support nonprofit organizations throughout our region.”

    Eligible applicants must be a qualifying nonprofit organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and demonstrate clear alignment with the Foundation’s mission.
