    HERMISTON, OR – Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) anticipates receiving weekly COVID-19 Moderna vaccine allocations and will hold weekly vaccine events on our campus at 610 NW 11th Street in Hermiston. The vaccine clinic schedule may be found on Good Shepherd’s website at www.gshealth.org/coronavirus and the listing is also below.

    “We are very glad that Oregon opened up COVID-19 vaccination to those 16 and older. Good Shepherd will only be offering Moderna vaccines. Moderna is authorized for those 18 and older. Our primary goal is to help Umatilla County Public Health to vaccinate as many Umatilla County residents as we can,” stated Devin Goldman, Quality & Infection Control Director.

    Vaccine clinics will be held weekly (until further notice) on Good Shepherd’s campus in Conference Centers 1 & 2 which is easily accessible by parking and entering closest to Entrance “C”. No appointment is needed. Individuals do not need to bring anything with them and should prepare for 15 minutes of required monitoring after vaccine administration. Community members may call and leave a message on Good Shepherd’s COVID-19 Vaccination Hotline at 541.667.3426 should they have any questions about the vaccination clinics.

For general COVID-19 questions, individuals may call the OHA hotline by dialing 211 from a cell phone (not a landline). If you believe that you have been infected by COVID-19 or are exhibiting symptoms such as fever or respiratory illness (cough or shortness of breath), please call ahead to your primary care provider’s office, Good Shepherd Urgent Care at 541.567.2995 and/or Umatilla County Public Health at 541.278.5432.
