Welltok, Inc Data Breach
Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) was informed by Welltok, Inc, a vendor that operates an online healthcare contact-management platform, that their company experienced a data breach in May and June of 2023 that may affect the security of patients’ personal information.
This data security incident reported by Welltok, Inc, was a breach of Welltok, not Good Shepherd Health Care System. The company has indicated they have no evidence that patient data has been misused.
Patients that received a letter from Welltok, Inc are encouraged to call the number provided for assistance and support at 800-628-2141, which is a dedicated assistance line available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, excluding major U.S. Holidays.
